About the hall
Our Story
Pamphill Parish Hall was built to serve the residents and surrounding villages of the Kingston Lacy Estate — a place long cherished as part of Dorset’s rural heritage. The land was generously provided by the Bankes Estate and from its earliest days, the hall has stood at the heart of local community life.
Over the decades, it has hosted everything from craft fairs, art exhibitions, church fetes, exercise classes, discos, skittles evenings and many more. Today, it continues to offer a welcoming, accessible space for residents and visitors alike, a place where people come together to share ideas, celebrate, and connect.
Our Vision
We aim to:
• Provide a welcoming, accessible venue for all ages and activities
• Foster a sense of belonging and community
• Preserve the hall’s connection to the Kingston Lacy Estate and its natural setting
