    ensure that everyone who uses, hires, visits or works with the Hall is treated fairly, with
    dignity and respect.
    Pamphill Parish Hall seeks to provide a welcoming environment that is free from

    Hirers of Pamphill Parish Hall are required to:
    • Comply with this Equality & Diversity Policy
    • Ensure that their activities do not discriminate against any individual or group
    • Take reasonable steps to ensure fair access to their events
    Pamphill Parish Hall reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where activities conflict
    with this policy.

  6. Volunteers and Committee Members
    Trustees, Committee members and volunteers are expected to:
    • Act in accordance with this policy at all times
    • Treat others with courtesy and respect
    • Avoid behaviour that could be considered discriminatory or offensive

  7. Complaints and Concerns
    Any person who believes they have been treated unfairly or discriminated against in
    connection with Pamphill Parish Hall may raise the matter using the Hall’s Complaints
    Procedure.
    All complaints will be taken seriously and handled fairly and confidentially.

  8. Review of Policy
    This policy will be reviewed annually, or sooner if required by changes in legislation or
    guidance.
