Fire Evacuation Procedures

Purpose
These procedures tell hall users what to do if there is a fire or suspected fire during a
booking or use of the hall.

1. If You Discover a Fire

2. Raise the alarm immediately.

3. Ensure everyone leaves the hall quickly and calmly.
   o Assist anyone who needs help.

4. Check all areas including:
   o Kitchen
   o Toilet
   o Meeting Room
   to ensure nobody is left behind.

5. Once the building is empty:
   o Close external doors (if safe to do so).
   o Do not re-enter the building for any reason.

6. Assembly Point
   • After leaving the building, gather at the rear of the car park for a roll call or head count.

7. Call Emergency Services

8. Use a mobile phone to call 999.

9. Give the exact hall address:
   Pamphill Parish Hall, Abbott Street, Hillbutts, BH21 4ED

10. If available, provide the What3Words location: ///stocked.snowstorm.grain
